Southbound lanes on Riverside Drive and the 1.05-mile stretch of Riverside Drive from Beale Street to Carolina will continue to be closed to motor vehicle traffic for the next two weeks as the City of Memphis implements a new pilot program designed to make the street more accessible for bicyclists and pedestrians. Your donation could help to tranform a privately owned railroad embankment lot at the corner of Nettleton Avenue and Tennessee Street into a community fruit tree orchard (similar to a community garden) and green space.  Click here to learn more about this project.

Spring is in the air, and Downtown Alive!, the award-winning lunchtime performance series is back in Court Square for another season!  Picnic in the park while enjoying free concerts, fitness demonstrations, and theatrical and dance performances.   Upcoming events include blues man Kenneth Jackson, the Emma Webb Band, John Paul Keith, and more.  Click here to see the current complete schedule.
