“Excellent Price, excellent service, excellent breakfast” Raves Comfort Inn Downtown Memphis Guest

“Excellent Price, excellent service, excellent breakfast”

I stayed at this hotel on business in February and as a pleasure trip in April, 2013. Both stays had exceptional service and security. All room amentities within this hotel were fantastic. Our second stay had a full view of the river. Beale Street was only a short walk for entertainment and dining.

Room Tip: Room 1001 has an excellent view of the river

We are a family of 3 (12 year old child) looking to visit downtown Memphis. We were nervous about where to stay downtown & didn’t want to be too far off. We picked this hotel based off of some reviews. I called to find out how far it was from Beale St. & from the first conversation the customer service was top notch.
We wanted to be close to the strip, but couldn’t afford the heftier price tags. Here, parking was reasonable & we were told earlier how we were only 1 block from the trolly. It is a longer walk with a kid, but we hiked it on the way to dinner & it wasn’t too long at all. We took the trolly back for $1 when it was dark & we were all tired.
The hotel was clean, convenient, safe, comfy, and at every turn customer service was awesome. We had a lot of questions as we never been to Memphis before & they answered everything happily. We even left at 5am (more road trip ahead) and the woman cooking breakfast allowed us in to grab whatever we wanted for the road (free continental breakfast was not open yet).
It was so easy to get around and we would for sure stay here again as a family or a couple.
