“Good Place to Stay in Downtown Memphis,” Says One Comfort Inn Downtown Memphis Customer

“We picked this hotel because it had complimentary parking in its self-park garage, and it’s located in a safer part of downtown Memphis. It was a 20-minute walk to Beale Street, which was relatively convenient. The rooms were not very nice – we stayed in a suite on the 1st floor, which was of decent size but with no windows. I would not stay there for more than a night, especially because the price wasn’t very cheap either.”

“Great location and nice for the price”

We arrived late at night in the pouring rain but felt instantly better with the friendly welcome extended to us at this hotel.
The room was very clean and well stocked with everything that we needed for two nights.
Breakfast in the morning was wonderful! Every member of staff said good morning and wished us a great day! The food itself was delicious and changes according to the day, but there are always biscuits and gravy!
The only problem that we encountered was no hot water in our room, but we called down the front desk who apologized and said they would have the maintenance man look at it straight away. Within 10 minutes the hot water was back on and we received a call up to the room to make sure everything was ok.

The front desk staff were super helpful when we asked for a cab, they let us know that the trolley was only $1 to get us into town but also made sure that we had the number for the cab company in case we were out late.
The trolley into downtown is only a block away, but otherwise it isn’t that far of a walk to Beale Street where all the fun is.
Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend and return to this hotel.
